9 Maidens
This is a project based on Alexandra Dikaia Challenge.
Each Maiden keeps something and carries/weares something. For every maiden I wanted to give some personal characteristics.
Mostly the color palette for all illustration is the following.
Here I was inspired by my mother-in-law. As she was young, she collected different herbs and wrote their characteristics. Also she did some boho jewelries.
Sketch and Color of the harp, which is a magic cane at the same time. Here I wanted to use some runes, which have some special meanings like peace, leadership, etc.
This Maiden likes especially baguette with Kefir. Also I wanted to have some connections with other maidens, who carries a wicker basket.
Here I wanted to give a travel spirit, but also a home feeling. She collects money for her next vacation.
As all this maidens lives in one home, I wanted to use something not far away and the wooden barrel-whirlpool is perfectly suitable. Also I wanted to show where all this leaves are coming from and wanted to make an recyclable point in using car tire. The mouse is just for a funny element.
This Maiden has problems to get asleep perhaps because of her crown. Nobody knows.
Here I wanted to give some sport and cute spirit. Yoga and cat are for me a perfect match.
